SHAPECHORDS is a dental fiber formed in a shape that corresponds to the dental arches, both in the lingual and buccal position. It allows for splinting up to 6 teeth
Unique form: perfect fit to the lingual and buccal surfaces of the dental arches, which allows splinting in various clinical cases.
Reduced procedure time: significantly shorter splint modeling time thanks to innovative form.
We stabilize teeth that are loose due to periodontology or trauma. Depending on the needs, these will be permanent or temporary splints. SHAPECHORDS combines with all modern composites, both flow and paste types.
We restore single missing teeth by splinting the adjacent teeth. Many cases of periodontal inflammation occur with tooth loss. We then make a stabilizing splint, where in place of the lost tooth we attach the patient’s own tooth or a ready acrylic or composite crown or we model the missing tooth with composite. All methods are equivalent, for us to choose from and all use a splint from SHAPECHORDS.
We perform complex work, especially in difficult occlusal conditions, often these are temporary bridges, with extended durability for the healing period after the implant procedure.
2 pcs. internal or 2 pcs. external
Is it better to splinting from the outside or inside?
The choice of splinting technique depends on the dentist. In our experience, SHAPECHORDS internal is more often used. It is more difficult to work with, but the aesthetic effect is much better.
