Discover our light-curing dental restorative materials, NEXT composite and CREATE extra-hard composite, as well as our exceptionally useful, in many clinical cases essential and comfortable modelling fibres for the substructure of prosthetic work, containing composite COMCORD and the easy-to-apply, more convenient than glass fibres – CHORDS.
We model large cavities ‘by hand’, but inlays/onlays modelled with NEXT or CREATE high-strength composite are becoming more and more popular. The substructure of the occlusal surface is made of fibre: CHORDS or COMCORDS. The tooth wall or the contour of the work is made of COMCORD. The characterisation of teeth is made of COLOURANT. We give smoothness to the work with GLAZE.
By using an indirect method (in the mouth and/or on the model) for work such as endocoronas or crowns, we take away the hassle of modelling in difficult saliva or bleeding work, while still being able to rebuild the ideal contact point. Modelling is carried out using NEXT composite or CREATE composite with increased hardness. The substructure of the occlusal surface is made of either CHORDS or COMCORD. For modelling bridges, we use one of the fibres as a support. When we want to put a fibre on the very bottom of the work COMCORD, we use the CHORDS as a second fibre to reinforce the structure. Depending on the amount of space in the bite one of the fibres mentioned above.
For the modelling of the missing tooth, we use the higher strength composite CREATE.
To obtain the natural colour of the tooth, we stain the cervical section with COLOURANT.
We give smoothness to the reconstruction with GLAZE.
